俩娃的妈妈，准备重回职场，老公一直鼓励我去读个移民代理课程。
申请了VU的graduate certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice

有没有过来人给说说这个课程的情况，难度之类的。
心里好有个底，分分伺候！！！！

更新1：
周末就orientation啦，去了再来更新感想。今天打了个电话，人家教我准备个行李箱去，大约要发5KG的学习资料
我。。。。。。

Australian National University 全部是网上学的，但考试就是每门课都需要考的。最后注册雅思每门需要6.5分。

澳洲好像是有4所大学有这个课程

详情可以上AUN网上查一下，它是每年开课三次每次只能学二门，不知道学完了有没有客人来，每年注删费需要二千澳币！

不过不试试怎么知道呢，希望能达到预期的，做这个只为能更灵活的安排自己的时间。

我老板说现在市场上的移民代理越来越少，因为很多人拿不到牌，很多人拿了牌成本高没客人自己hold不住，也有很多人是做了一段时间自己放弃了，这个牌如果只是做没有什么技术含量的小移民case,也赚不到什么钱，如果是做大的雇主类或者投资类，需要很多经验以及很大的风险，其实有点儿累。我在留学公司上班我老板说过去公司有两个女孩考牌都没考下来，一个是英文没考下来，一个是没读出来，后来转做专业会计工作了。这个活就是初看还挺好，越做越觉得有风险和累，我也是犹犹豫豫，还没想好，反正我英文还没考出来，先考雅思再说了。

周围圈子里面不少人做这个或者相关的工作。看你的出发点是什么了。如果是为了能更灵活安排自己的时间。。。可以说的是，如果是持牌代理自己跟案子，那是很难控制自己的时间的，随时随地都待命。尤其中国国内的客人（有钱人），指望你晚上和周末都给他们干活的。

有朋友读过这个课程，读下来不容易，注册了之后没找到多少客户，她原本也不是干这行的。后来发现小case赚不了几个钱，大客户靠人脉，撑了一两年就放弃了，读书这一万多块打水漂。相比之下，原本就在这个行业里的人会更有优势。
我觉得你还是先接触一下这个行业，入行做一段时间以后再想是不是要读吧。

做留学风险少做投资移民风险大，如不成动就要退款，收钱越多案子就复杂风险就越大，能考出来也是不错的，如果去读也可以政府贷款。

我本来雅思还不错，08年考过一次，平均7分应该没问题，主要还是担心课程，因为我基本属于0基础，而且怎么说也是跟法律沾点边的。
之前的经验就是自己DIY了留学签证，直系非直系亲属的旅游签证、仅此而已。
昨晚跟老公聊了一下我的顾虑，他是非常鼓励我，但也不给我任何压力，尽力就行。我也是想，不管再做哪一行终归要迈出那一步，既然我对这方面感兴趣，就尽力一试吧，不行也去没什么遗憾了。

加油多来这里分享一下你的学习心得，大家互相交流一下，读书好不好读这个不好说，因为每个人基础不一样小马过河了。有人英文好有人有业内经验有人online读有人选授课的，有人兼职读有人不用上班所以好读不好读我认识的人说什么的都有只能自己去看看了。但我听说UV的授课班算好读的，online的比较困难。

LZ，可以先去留学移民中介做counsultant，这个相对比较简单，很多中介都在招，有了资源经验和一定人脉后开始考移民律师证，再积累一定case经验后自己带客户源出来做。

移民法可不是跟法律沾点边，澳洲移民法是澳洲最复杂多变的法律。
考出来已经不容易了，能灵活运用指导客户就更难了。
你可以搜搜法律网站，看一些法条试试能否理解。

Vu的毕业生，现在在做注册移民师，行业经验5年，建议如下：

1。没有经验的坚决不能上Online，宁愿辛苦点上Face to Face.没有和老师面对面的教学，考试和大作业就是一个死字。我去上课，才第三周，班上就Drop了一半。课程很紧，每两周一个大作文。下半年MM会很辛苦。我一直记得我大年三十在交作业。（作业一般11;30 pm due）

2。这行好好做是肯定饿不死的，但也发不了大财，关键是一定要爱惜羽毛，刚刚注册头两年一定要成功率高，不然很难做下去。

入学是没有硬性雅思要求的吧，不过到时候MARA注册的时候需要，而且需要在你完成课程的一年内完成注册

本身之前就对这个感兴趣，不是单纯为了找工作考虑。我自己跟周围的朋友都觉得我挺适合做这一类工作的、特别是我老公，非常支持我，所以我就尽管一试吧
我的出发点是想要能有一份工作可以让我更好的安排自己的时间（不过也有童鞋说这行可能做不到这一点）

哦我最近也咨询了几个课程，一个是幼儿学前教育，一个是行政，还有一个是社区服务，最后还是选了行政学费还挺贵的

不可能自己自由安排时间的
午饭有时候都没得吃的

责任很重，压力很大，经常半夜三更都会被自己吓醒

做中国客户市场（457，投资除外）都被做烂掉了，价格被竞争得低得无以复加了，只能靠量了

给别人打工永远付出跟回报不成比例。自己做的话就看自己的本事了。

另外经验很重要，不是读完了这个课就什么都会做了。现在可以先找个公司攒经验，有人带没人带差别还是很大的。

mara注册的时候，好像是要在这边读的高中才可以在注册的时候免掉雅思成绩。

而且雅思要求我觉得还是可以理解的，他要平均7分，单科不低于6.5就可以了

对，完全同意，读完这个只是一个人入门，其实经验来的更加重要。
我是没办法，现在我妈妈可以在这里帮我，我就赶紧把这个课程读好，要不然我怕以后没办法工作学习孩子兼顾啊。
如果有的选择，我一顶是先找工作，入门了才回去考虑读这个专业。但是目前情况不允许

读bachelor的时候没要求语言测试，就是凭VCE成绩或者相关工作及教育背景入学的。

但是作为international student，我还真不清楚入学条件。MM可以网上查查，或者干脆邮件给他们。同学里有几个留学生，她们都是在这边读了高中然后VCE入学的。据说学费比其他学校稍微便宜点，bachelor 的international student学费大概是1年2万。

Please complete an Advance standing form to apply for credits, you will need to specify which units you would like to apply credits for, you will need to make sure the units are similar, if the units are 80% similar you are more likely to get credits towards your degree, you can complete this form before you apply, under normal circumstances applications may take up to four (4) weeks to process.

在VU读过这个课程，现在在一家移民中介做，很同意，时间不是自己的，一赶case就加班，而且老板比我更忙，经常半夜还在干活。
楼主可能以为自己做时间会好控制，不是的，自己做的话，更得尽心尽力，客户24小时都可能找你，凌晨2点还会有从国内打电话来的（就国内11点吧客户不觉得晚）。

另外，VU的课程我不知道是考核标准还是出题难度什么的原因，很少高分的，全班那么多人，基本的反馈都是pass已经不容易（fail掉很正常），C不错，D很好了，HD从来没见过。
相反，知道有几个人在ANU读的，就有都能拿到D，HD的。另外，VU的课程管理也很差，如果再选一次，我肯定读ANU。

我当时是边工作边读的，课业压力比较大，除了上班和吃饭睡觉其他时间都必须用来看书，而且上班还不能加班，一加班就没时间看书了。
如果你是全职读书，会好一些。我同学有专门辞工了全职来上课的，也感觉需要花很多时间在上面。

另外，这个课程不是和法律沾边，而是完全就是读法律，所以你现在可以开始assume你是一个法律系学生，这样比较容易进入状况。
不仅仅移民法，还会需要接触很多各种相关的法律
